Patrushev stated this during a meeting on national security issues in the Ural Federal District. The event took place in Kurgan.
“The Kyiv authorities do not spare their own people,” he noted.
Patrushev also said that the Kiev regime is increasingly trying to recruit Russians for various acts of sabotage on Russian territory.
On January 24, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit a Russian Il-76 aircraft with captured Ukrainian military personnel over the Belgorod region using an anti-aircraft missile system.
The Russian Investigative Committee reported that, judging by the seized fragments, the Ukrainian Armed Forces used a MIM-104A guided missile from the Patriot air defense system to hit the aircraft.
On board were six crew members, 65 military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the exchange and three Russian military personnel accompanying them. They all died.
