The politician admitted that there were defects in the signatures: in some places the series of passports did not match, in others the signatures were similar, in some sheets the collectors probably filled out the data with their own hands.

The authorized representative of the Civil Initiative party, Igor Artemyev, previously stated that the Central Election Commission found 15.348% of defects in the signatures for the nomination of Boris Nadezhdin for the presidential election in Russia.

Before this, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission Nikolai Bulaev reported that the CEC working group had discovered errors in the signature sheets that were submitted for registration by the leader of the Communists of Russia party, Sergei Malinkovich and Boris Nadezhdin.
