Demolish a house

North of the city of Jericho, the occupation forces demolished a house in the village of Nuweimah al-Tahta for a family that had lived in it for 10 years and forced its residents to evacuate it.

The occupation authorities said that the justification for demolishing the house was its construction in Area C and the lack of an Israeli permit.

The occupation forces also distributed notices to demolish 6 other homes in the village under the pretext of building without a license.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli authorities prevent construction or land reclamation in Area C, which is estimated at about 60% of the West Bank and is subject to Israeli control in accordance with the Oslo Accords, without licenses from them, which are almost impossible to obtain.
