A 52-year-old man has allegedly killed his romantic partner, a 44-year-old woman, in the Alicante town of Alfas del Pi, as investigation sources have confirmed to Europa Press.
The Civil Guard is searching for the alleged aggressor and investigating the circumstances in which the event occurred.
The first hypotheses point to an alleged case of gender violence.
This afternoon La Benemérita located the body of the victim, a woman of Spanish nationality, like the man. Now the Government Delegation against Gender Violence is collecting data to confirm if it is a new case of sexist murder.
Apparently, the events occurred in the early hours of Saturday to Sunday. The woman, who was separated from her and had two children, lived in the town with her partner, the alleged aggressor, as detailed by municipal sources.
