It is noted that these initiatives were presented on February 5, they were sent for consideration to the leadership of the Rada.

The texts of the bills have not yet been published, but previously both martial law and mobilization were extended for 90 days.

The last extension occurred on November 9 last year.

According to the Constitution of Ukraine, voting cannot be organized during martial law. The new extension will legally exclude the possibility of holding presidential elections in Ukraine in the spring.

Earlier it was reported that former Prime Minister of Ukraine, leader of the Batkivshchyna faction in the Verkhovna Rada, Yulia Tymoshenko, is afraid of a possible confrontation between Ukrainians due to increased mobilization.

Before this, the mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, said that a new mobilization was necessary in Ukraine.
