The Municipal Police evicted two nightclubs this past Saturday morning for doubling the capacity in the Chamberí district and the Center district. These are the

Mymo room on 3 Miguel Ángel Street, and the La Noche Club on 19 Segovia Street.

In the first intervention, a municipal police officer ended up with a broken rib when he was attacked by a 19-year-old customer. when he was identified. Both actions are part of the inspections that the Municipal Police carries out in leisure rooms to verify that the regulations are complied with.

At the Mymo nightclub, the Municipal Police discovered that there was overcapacity in the early hours of Saturday. Specifically, a recount was done and

660 people were counted inside when the maximum capacity was 322.

This is where the problems arose when several of the clients confronted the agents. Tension increased and reinforcements had to be called.

One of the attendees, 19 years old, began to cause problems and pointed out that it was nobody's turn and that his father was a well-known lawyer. When he tried to identify her, he began to struggle and attacked a municipal agent from the Chamberí district, breaking his rib. In turn, this young man was injured in the face. Finally, he was arrested for attacking a law enforcement agent, according to police sources.

In the La Noche Club room, the Municipal Police also found more than twice as many people inside when they went to inspect the premises. It has

a capacity of 99 people, but a total of 205 people were counted.

The agents drew up the corresponding minutes for violations of the applicable regulations according to the Law of Public Entertainment and Recreational Activities of the Community of Madrid regarding the maximum capacity allowed. According to these regulations, exceeding the limited capacity entails a

very serious infraction

if it poses a serious risk to attendees.
