“Two deputies of the municipal district of the city of Lisichansk, Artyom Nikolaevich Trostyansky and Ivan Sergeevich Zhushma, were killed. I express my condolences to the families, loved ones and the entire deputy corps,” the Telegram channel of the city administration quotes him as saying.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck Lisichansk on the evening of February 3. As a result of the shelling, 28 people were killed, including a child.
The head of the Lugansk People's Republic, Leonid Pasechnik, confirmed that the Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel Alexey Poteleshchenko, died as a result of shelling by Ukrainian troops of a bakery in Lisichansk.
