Occupation forces during a previous storming of the city of Tubas (Anatolia)

The Israeli occupation army stormed, at dawn on Monday, cities, camps and towns in the West Bank, and arrested at least 20 Palestinians. Palestinian sources said that the arrest campaign included freed prisoners from cadres of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas and the Islamic Jihad Movement.

Al Jazeera's correspondent said that the occupation army stormed Al-Ain camp, west of the city of Nablus, in the northern West Bank, amid clashes and the sound of explosions.

The Israeli army surrounded a house in the camp, while confrontations broke out with dozens of Palestinians, and the army withdrew from the camp after arresting two citizens.

Storming of Tubas

The occupation forces also stormed the city of Tubas, in the northern West Bank, and arrested two people, sparking confrontations with dozens of Palestinians.

The Israeli army used live and metal bullets and tear gas bombs to disperse the Palestinians who threw stones at its forces, according to eyewitnesses.

The occupation forces sent reinforcements from their vehicles through the Tayasir checkpoint, and a military bulldozer began to bulldoze some streets inside the city.

The resistance factions announced that they were targeting the occupation vehicles penetrating into the city with a heavy barrage of bullets.

Tulkarm and Jenin

In the city of Tulkarm in the northern West Bank, the Israeli army carried out a campaign of raids and arrests that targeted 5 citizens, amid clashes with Palestinian militants in several locations in the city.

The Israeli occupation forces also stormed the village of Ramin, east of Tulkarm, and deployed in its streets and alleys, firing bullets, stun grenades, and poisonous tear gas.

In Jenin Governorate, the occupation army arrested 8 citizens from the town of Arraba during a search and raids that affected dozens of homes.

Palestinian sources reported that confrontations broke out with the occupation forces storming the town of Ya`bad, district of the city, and the resistance fighters detonated a high-explosive device with the occupation vehicles.

Explosive device

In Hebron, Palestinian resistance fighters targeted the occupation forces with a homemade device during their storming of the town of Beit Ummar, north of the city.

The Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Halhul, arrested 3 citizens, and caused material damage to a citizen’s vehicle before withdrawing from the town.

Local Palestinian platforms published video clips documenting the occupation forces’ storming of the town located north of Hebron.

Local Palestinian platforms also published scenes documenting the Israeli occupation forces storming the town of Bidya, located west of the city of Salfit in the West Bank. The scenes documented the presence of occupation vehicles in the neighborhoods of the town and their pushing of reinforcements towards it.

With the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, Israel escalated its military operations in the West Bank, leaving 381 martyrs and about 4,400 wounded, according to official Palestinian data.
