In his Telegram channel, he called the deceased minister a courageous man with an iron character.

“He defended the Lugansk People’s Republic in the ranks of the People’s Militia, then worked in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the LPR. For a year, he headed the Lisichansk State Fire and Rescue Squad,” Pasechnik said.

The head of the LPR emphasized that for many residents Poteleshchenko “became a model of masculinity,” and for his colleagues he was a “decisive and strong-willed commander.”
