Effects of Hezbollah’s bombing of sites in the Upper Galilee (Anatolia)

Lebanese Hezbollah announced, on Monday, the killing of 3 of its members in attacks carried out by the Israeli occupation army on southern Lebanon near the border. Hezbollah explained via the Telegram application that "the three dead were from the southern towns of Aitaroun, Al-Tiri, and Yaroun."

The death toll from Hezbollah rose to 182, as a result of the exchange of bombardments that occur daily between it and the Israeli army on the southern border.

On the other hand, Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that 5 missiles were fired towards Israeli positions in the Upper Galilee, near the border with southern Lebanon, noting that sirens sounded in the Doviv and Bir'im areas in the Upper Galilee.

For its part, Israeli Channel 12 reported on Monday that 8 missiles were monitored from southern Lebanon towards the northern border of Israel. Sirens sounded in several Israeli towns near the Lebanese border in the Upper Galilee region.

In response, the Israeli army fired artillery missiles, without clarifying the fate of the launched missiles, the areas they targeted, or the damage they caused. So far, no official statements have been issued by the Israeli army, or by the resistance factions in Lebanon regarding this incident.

The Israeli newspaper Maariv reported that until this moment, Israel had carried out more than 3,400 attacks on Lebanese territory. While about two thousand were fired from Lebanon towards Israel since the beginning of the war on Gaza.

This comes after Hezbollah announced, yesterday, Sunday, that it had targeted 6 sites and gatherings of Israeli soldiers, off the southern border of Lebanon.

Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the Lebanese-Israeli border has witnessed tension and intermittent exchanges of fire between the Israeli army on the one hand and Hezbollah and Palestinian factions on the other hand. These events resulted in deaths and injuries on both sides.
