Police custody of the individual, who injured three people at Lyon station in Paris on Saturday, resumed on Sunday after initially being deemed incompatible with the psychiatric state of the suspect. Three people were injured, including one seriously, by stabbing on Saturday morning at Gare de Lyon in Paris. After being interrupted due to the psychiatric state of the assailant, the individual's police custody resumed this Sunday. But what exactly do we know about him?

This 32-year-old man is called Kassog S. Of Malian origin and legally in Italy since 2016, he is unknown to the French and Italian police services. According to local residents interviewed by Europe 1, he has been living in the Gare de Lyon area for several weeks.

Videos on TikTok that appeal

According to a police source, the man is homeless suffering from psychiatric problems. He himself mentioned his problems to the police during his custody and medication for this type of pathology was found in his belongings.

At the same time, several Internet users revealed on social networks the existence of a TikTok channel, most probably in the name of the alleged author of the attack. On this channel, several anti-French and anti-colonialist videos or speeches. “I don’t like France. I hate all the French. It’s the French who pillaged my entire country, my entire continent,” we hear in particular in these videos. They are of particular interest to investigators, because they could explain the motivations of the attacker, if a link between him and this TikTok account was definitively established.
