Since the beginning of the aggression against Gaza, the occupation forces have carried out massive night raids on cities and towns in the West Bank (Al Jazeera)

The Israeli occupation forces stormed several towns in the West Bank, and the raids were concentrated in the towns of Ya`bad, south of the city of Jenin, Ramin, east of the city of Tulkarm, and Bidya, west of Salfit Governorate.

The occupation forces also raided several homes and beat young men, leading to clashes with resistance fighters during which they threw explosive devices at occupation soldiers and vehicles.

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation forces arrested 3 Palestinians in the city of Halhul, north of Hebron in the West Bank.

The reporter added that the occupation forces stormed several homes, searched them, and damaged one of the vehicles, before withdrawing from the city.

In the city of Jenin, the occupation forces arrested a number of leaders of the Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements in the town of Arraba, southwest of the city.

This comes after the occupation forces stormed the town, raiding homes, searching them, and tampering with their contents.

Local Palestinian platforms published scenes documenting the Israeli occupation forces storming the town of Bidya, located west of the city of Salfit in the West Bank. The scenes documented the presence of occupation vehicles in the neighborhoods of the town and their pushing of reinforcements towards it.

Local Palestinian platforms also published video clips documenting the occupation forces’ storming of the town of Halhul, located north of the city of Hebron, and other clips documenting the escalation of clashes between resistance fighters and the occupation forces following their storming of the town of Sarra, located west of the city of Nablus in the West Bank. The sounds of gunshots are clearly heard in the video clips.

The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) said that a young man was injured during the clashes that broke out in the town.

The agency quoted Ahmed Jibril, director of the Red Crescent Ambulance and Emergency Center in Nablus, as saying that a young man (29 years old) was shot in the foot during confrontations that broke out after the occupation stormed the town.

Since the resistance launched the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle and the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, the occupation has intensified its military operations in the West Bank and increased the pace of incursions and raids into Palestinian cities, towns and camps, leaving hundreds of martyrs and thousands of wounded, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

On the other hand, the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission issued its report regarding attacks by the occupation forces and settlers during last January.

The head of the commission, Moayed Shaaban, said that the occupation authorities and settlers carried out 1,593 attacks (of which 186 attacks were carried out by settlers), and the violations were concentrated in the Hebron Governorate, followed by occupied Jerusalem and Nablus.
