Foshan Port completed a cargo throughput of 102 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 19.2%, becoming the first "100-million-ton port" on an inland river in Guangdong.

　　Foshan is located in the hinterland of the Pearl River Delta. The Xijiang River, Beijiang River and their tributaries in the Pearl River water system run through the entire territory. These 100-million-ton ports have one common characteristic: they are all coastal ports.

The logistics time for waterborne cargo has been shortened from 5-7 days to less than 2 days, and logistics efficiency has increased by more than 60%. In 2023, 320,200 standard containers will be imported and exported through the "One Port Connect" and "Combined Port", a year-on-year increase of 14.3%.
