The mother of the Palestinian girl Hind Rajab (6 years old) - in an interview with Al Jazeera - appealed to international institutions and organizations to take action to search for her daughter who has been missing for a week and reveal her fate.
Wissam said that her daughter has been missing for 7 days, and she is eagerly waiting for her return. “Every time I hear the sound of an ambulance, I say that Hind might be in it, and with every movement, gunfire, or missile that comes down, I say that my daughter might be in it.”
Hind's mother expressed her pain over the psychological state her daughter might go through when she returns to her. She said that she studied psychology, and she is the one who feels her daughter's condition the most. "If she returns well, she will need long psychological sessions, in addition to that she will need treatment for her physical injury."
Wissam criticized the silence of international human rights organizations and United Nations organizations because they do not take action to search for her missing daughter.
She confirmed - in her statement to Al Jazeera - that since the first day of Hind's loss, she had appealed to these organizations and living consciences to help her reach her daughter, but until today no one has reassured her or brought her any news about her: Is she alive? Is she injured? Are you receiving treatment?
She addressed Wissam International Organizations, saying, “You are supposed to speak to the Israeli army, reach the girl, and hold it accountable for the coordination it gave us.”
The grieving mother wondered why Hind’s case was not brought to the International Court of Justice, which announced reporting any violations committed by the Israeli occupation army against the Palestinians in Gaza. She added: Is killing 8 people in a car not genocide?
