This was stated by the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, Peter Szijjártó, writes Hirado.
According to him, the EU countries know that Hungary will not take on such a “financial burden.”
“We cannot and will not stop others from doing this, it is their own responsibility, they will have to account for their actions. We, of course, will not be part of the solution,” Szijjártó said.
Earlier, Politico wrote that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s point of view regarding the EU’s allocation of €50 billion in aid to Ukraine changed due to persuasion from Italian Prime Minister Giorgi Meloni and French President Emmanuel Macron.
