In the Diet, the House of Representatives Budget Committee will begin substantive deliberations on the new fiscal year's budget bill from the 5th. While the opposition parties are demanding clarification on the issue surrounding political funding parties run by factions of the Liberal Democratic Party, the government and the Liberal Democratic Party are hoping to expedite deliberations by explaining efforts such as interviews with relevant members by party executives.

The Diet will begin substantive deliberations on the new fiscal year's budget bill at the House of Representatives Budget Committee on the 5th, with Prime Minister Kishida and all cabinet members in attendance.

The opposition parties are calling for an investigation into the facts surrounding the political funding party of a faction within the Liberal Democratic Party, and plan to strictly hold Prime Minister Kishida and the executives of the faction involved accountable.

On NHK's ``Sunday Debate,'' Chairman Anju Diet Committee of the Constitutional Democratic Party said, ``I want the Liberal Democratic Party to clarify the whole situation on its own.The people will not be convinced if we just say, ``Let's make a law'' without providing any explanation.'' Ta.

In response, Liberal Democratic Party Diet Committee Chairman Hamada said, ``The opposition party has proposed a discussion at the Political Ethics Committee, and we hope to use the committee to sincerely fulfill our accountability.'' He stated that he would like to consider having the relevant members attend the National Diet's Committee on Political Ethics and explain the matter.

Since last week, Liberal Democratic Party Chairman Moriyama and other senior party officials have been interviewing members of the Abe and Nikai factions. On the 4th, former Secretary General Nikai will also be included in the interview, and we hope to complete the series of interviews by the end of this week.

In addition, this week, we will conduct a survey of all members of the Diet to confirm whether there is any party ticket income from factions that was not included in the income and expenditure report, and the government and Liberal Democratic Party will carefully discuss these efforts through questions and answers. I would like to explain this and smoothly proceed with deliberations on the budget bill, which we aim to pass within the fiscal year.
