US-British raids shake Sanaa and raise alert and anxiety (social networking sites)

 Sanaa -

A new wave of strong and violent American-British raids witnessed in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, at midnight on Sunday, shook the peace of the people and disturbed the peace of citizens, while the military spokesman for the Ansar Allah Houthi group, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, reiterated that these “attacks will not go without response or punishment.”

The Yemeni sources reported that the American-British aircraft launched 48 air strikes during the past hours, distributed as follows:

  • 13 raids on the capital, Sanaa, and its surroundings, targeting missile camps in “Jabal Attan,” “Jabal Nuqm,” and “Jabal al-Nahdain” in the presidential house.

  • 9 raids on Al-Hudaydah Governorate, hitting the Al-Durayhimi and Al-Lahiya districts.

  • 11 raids on Taiz Governorate, hitting the Al-Barah and Haifan areas, targeting military sites there.

  • 7 raids on Al-Bayda Governorate, also hitting military sites.

  • 7 raids on Hajjah Governorate.

  • One raid on Saada Governorate, which was subjected the previous day to two raids targeting military sites.

Military expert Colonel Rashad Al-Wateri considered the American-British targeting “an aggression against the sovereignty of the Republic of Yemen and the Yemeni people,” and that the continuation and expansion of the aggression is evidence of “the ability of our naval forces to successfully manage the battle in the Red Sea, distinguish and besiege the Israeli enemy, and prevent ships from reaching the ports of occupied Palestine.” .

Colonel Al-Watiri said in an interview with Al-Jazeera Net that the expansion of the circle of American-British strikes on the capital, Sana'a, and other governorates will find an immediate response, and "the circle of targeting American interests will expand." He pointed out that "the Yemeni response to America's aggression has encouraged all Arab parties in the region, and made them dare to target its bases and forces."

Regional power

Colonel Al-Wateri believes that "Yemen has emerged as a regional power that possesses the element of surprise, intimidation, and shock, which has left the Israelis, the Americans, and the British trapped in the Red Sea. It seems unable to protect its ships and warships, and is carrying out its aggression against Yemen to impose dominance and revenge, and is talking about undermining the capabilities of our armed forces."

Al-Wateri spoke about, "The American is the one who is leading the region into a comprehensive regional war, and a third world war may erupt as long as America and its partner Britain and their allies continue to attack the peoples of the Arab region and continue to support the Zionist entity's war on the Gaza Strip and commit crimes of genocide against the Palestinian people."

For his part, Brigadier General Abed Muhammad Al-Thawr, one of the senior officers of the Moral Guidance Department of the Armed Forces in Sanaa, pointed out that “wherever the American forces try to be present in the Red Sea, their battleships and fleets will be easy targets. We do not want to raise the level of military escalation in the region, because it is not in our interest.” “It is not in the interest of America, which is now seeking to implicate other countries in the world.”

He added, "Today we have reached the stage of possessing all types of ballistic missiles: strategic, winged and naval, and these can deal with any battleships, whether fixed or mobile."

He promised that "America and Britain attacked our country and bombed the capital, Sana'a, and other Yemeni cities," adding that "any escalation from Washington and London will be met with escalation against America's interests everywhere around us, and the United States of America is the one who started the battle, and we are the ones who will end it."

Warning to countries

Brigadier General Abed Al-Thour said in an interview with Al Jazeera Net, "We have warned the countries bordering the Red Sea not to allow their territorial waters or airspace to be used for aggression against our country, and if they allow that, we will deal with these countries as a party to the battle and war."

In response to the question: “Aren’t you afraid of the dangers of escalation in Yemen?” He said that the United States of America “is the one seeking to impose its hegemony over the Red Sea,” and stressed that “Yemen will not allow that, and we will not allow the Red Sea to be a Jewish lake, and today the strategic depth of the Zionist entity in the Red Sea has ended. It has ended from Jizan, passing through Bab al-Mandab.” Even the Arabian Sea and approximately 420 kilometers in the Red Sea are under our control, and we will not allow any presence of America or Israel there.”

Regarding what was reported that the American-British strikes destroyed 30% of the Houthis’ missile and drone capabilities, the Brigadier General downplayed their impact and said that “they were a failure and did not achieve anything. If what they said were true, we would not have been able to continue to strike missiles at ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.” Even today".

Yemen is a pole

Brigadier General Abed Al-Thawr believes that the United States of America is no longer the only pole in the world. Today, “Yemen has become a recognized Arab pole, and America or Britain cannot ignore this Arab pole, and it can secure international corridors and navigation.”

Regarding future "scenarios" and what is said that America and Britain may have a second plan to confront the Houthis, which is to control the Yemeni coast, especially the city and port of Hodeidah, he said, "Let us leave the poor old Britain aside, because it is no longer able to possess the necessary military capabilities." .

He added, "We can sink American battleships in the Red Sea, but we are dealing with extreme sensitivity, and we know that the stage is complex and sensitive. We do not want to expand the circle of battle, but if the Americans and British expand it, we will certainly expand the circle of targeting them, and the greatest harm will be to them."

He said, "We know that America is a superpower that possesses weapons with which it can destroy the world, but we will defend with our capabilities and abilities, and we trust ourselves and our military capabilities, and the nature of our land in Yemen is unlike Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Geography gives us the ability and competence to fight for long decades and achieve victories."

"You will melt into the sea"

Regarding the possibility of American-British ground action through Yemeni forces towards the coasts controlled by the Houthis, Brigadier General Abed Al-Thawr responded, saying, “If America could not protect its battleships and ships at sea, how would it work on the coast and on the Yemeni mainland?”

He added, "And if its military bases on the Syrian-Iraqi-Jordanian border were targeted and killed and wounded were caused, despite the fact that it possesses advanced air defenses and controls the geography of these countries, how can it think of controlling the coasts of Yemen, when it is unable to control part of the waters?" Regional? If it had been able, it would have done so a long time ago.”

He continued, saying, "America knows that Yemen is another country, and we are not like the other peoples that imposed hegemony over it. Our geography and land are mostly mountainous, and America will dissolve in the sea before reaching the Yemeni coast and land, and they will not bear any land confrontation, and Yemen will not be an easy prey, but will be Their cemetery.

And if it was helpless at sea, as he said, “is it reasonable that it would be better on land? For your information, the American soldier is the cowardiest fighter in the world. He relies on the arsenal they possess. As for the Yemeni fighter, the moral and material structure that he has honed over the past years gives him competence.” "And the ability to deal with the most powerful armies in the world."
