Almost a month after his arrival in Matignon, Gabriel Attal will have to face, Monday morning, his first motion of censure tabled by rebellious France in the National Assembly. A new ordeal for the tenant of Matignon who has already gone through the farmers' crisis and the controversy of his minister Amélie Oudéa-Castéra. 

A new baptism of fire. Almost a month after his arrival at Matignon, Gabriel Attal has already gone through numerous crises, such as the farmers or the Amélie Oudéa-Castera controversy. And the Prime Minister will have to face a new test on Monday morning, that of the motion of censure tabled by LFI. Elisabeth Borne, had survived around thirty motions, but today, the position of the LR has changed. 

After the "betrayal" on the immigration law and the poaching by the executive of Rachida Dati, certain right-wing deputies no longer believe in co-construction with the government. The leaders of the Republicans are even considering tabling their own motion of censure to avoid voting for that of France Insoumise.

The shadow of the Bayrou affair 

The legal decision against François Bayrou and Modem, in the case of European parliamentary assistants, will be rendered on Monday. A conviction could mark a halt in relations between François Bayrou and Emmanuel Macron. Consequently, the centrist party could lose all of its state secretaries during the second wave of appointments which should take place on Tuesday, according to information from Europe 1.
