“Ponomarev I.V. joined the Ukrainian paramilitary association “Legion “Freedom of Russia”, while assuming functional responsibilities for information support and bringing to a wide audience aspects of the organization’s activities, interaction with the media and government authorities of Ukraine,” the message says.
It is noted that members of this organization recruit Russians to commit extremist and terrorist crimes on Russian territory.
In addition, while in exile, Ponomarev systematically participated as a speaker “in various thematic events organized by pro-American forces.”
Earlier it was reported that the FSB opened criminal cases against Ponomarev for treason and participation in the activities of a terrorist organization.
