Agents from the Valdemoro Civil Traffic Guard detachment have arrested a 38-year-old driver who escaped last Thursday afternoon after

his car was allegedly involved in a fatal collision with a motorcycle at kilometer 4,600 of the M -217

in the municipality of Loeches.

The arrested person is a former organizer of night events and club parties. He tested positive in the alcohol test, as confirmed by sources from the Madrid Command of the Civil Guard. In principle, he is

accused of the crime of reckless homicide.

The accident occurred around 7:30 p.m. last Thursday.

The car driven by this man collided with the motorcycle and fled.

After the accident, the Summa 112 paramedics went to the scene, and could only confirm the death of the motorcyclist, since he had very serious injuries and resuscitation was not possible.

Once the accident occurred, the agents of the Traffic Detachment of the Valdemoro Civil Guard

managed to identify the car with the help of several witnesses who were able to provide some information about the vehicle involved

in the accident. That same night, investigators began investigations to locate and possible arrest the driver who, in principle, it is not known if he was alone at the time of the accident.

The agents went hours later to the home of the person involved and his family, in Getafe. Finally,

last Friday morning the driver showed up

at the Valdemoro barracks of the Civil Guard and was arrested, according to sources from the Armed Institute. He has several police records and will be brought to justice today.
