The day after the government's latest announcements to address the demands of the operators, several blocking points have been lifted and the demonstrators are preparing their return. According to a CSA survey for Europe 1, CNews and "Le Journal du Dimanche", 37% of French people believe that farmers have won the standoff, and 34% that they have lost.

The end of a crisis? The new government announcements seem to have resonated with angry farmers, who seem to be putting an end to their mobilization. At several blocked points, demonstrators are preparing their return. According to a CSA survey for Europe 1, CNews and "Le Journal du Dimanche", 37% of French people believe that farmers have won the standoff, and 34% that they have lost. 

Île-de-France more convinced than the province

In detail, 39% of the men questioned believe that the farmers have won their standoff against the government, 35% think the opposite and 26% do not comment. As for women, 34% think that the fight has been won, 33% believe that it has been lost, and 33% have no opinion on the issue. 

A fairly similar proportion depending on the age group since 34% of those under 35 believe that the standoff has been won, and 36% that it has not. When those over 65 years old, 38% think that the demands have borne fruit, and 30% that they have not. 

In Île-de-France, 43% of respondents answered in the affirmative, compared to 35% in the provinces.

52% of National Rally supporters think the standoff has been lost

According to the political proximity of the people questioned, it is on the side of the Renaissance party that we are the most convinced: 64% believe that the standoff was won, 13% believe that it was lost, and 23% do not comment. For left-wing respondents, 37% also think that the farmers won their case, but it is mainly on the right that we believe that this is not the case: 45% of respondents think that the farmers leave before their demands are met.

On the side of the National Rally, the proportion is even higher: 52% of the supporters surveyed think that the exploiters will not emerge victorious from these demonstrations, 29% believe that yes and 19% are undecided.
