The US Central Command (CENTCOM) reports this on the X social network.
The report said that the US military detected UAVs in Houthi-controlled territories and determined that they pose a threat to commercial vessels and US ships in the region.
“The US armed forces carried out the strike and destroyed the UAV in self-defense,” CENTCOM said.
Earlier, Al Masirah TV channel reported that the American and British military carried out a series of attacks on Houthi targets in the Yemeni province of Hajjah.
