The occupation army carried out more than 1,500 transfers of its wounded in the Gaza Strip (Anatolia)

The resistance in the Gaza Strip inflicted more losses on the Israeli occupation army, while the occupation announced that it had carried out more than 1,500 transfer operations for its wounded soldiers in Gaza. The occupation soldiers also suffer from severe psychological crises that prevent them from fighting, according to the Israeli media.

The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades - the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) - announced that its fighters targeted a “Zionist Merkava tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell” west of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

The Al-Quds Brigades - the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement - also said, “After our mujahideen returned from the areas of clashes in the Al-Amal neighborhood in Khan Yunis, they confirmed that they had targeted a Zionist D9 military bulldozer at the end of the school street.”

Its fighters also clashed "with enemy soldiers from point zero, leaving them dead and wounded, and seizing their weapons and equipment."

In the same context, the Al-Quds Brigades announced that it shot down an Israeli Quadcopter drone, which it shot down and took control of, while it was carrying out intelligence missions southwest of Khan Yunis.

Israeli losses

On the other hand, the Israeli occupation army announced that it had carried out more than 1,500 evacuations of soldiers wounded in the battles in the Gaza Strip since last October 27.

The army said in an account on the X platform, “Regular and reserve operational transport soldiers from the Marom Brigade are carrying out complex operations under fire deep in enemy territory.”

He added that the transport soldiers “are in constant contact with the ground maneuver forces and medical units in the country. The unit forms a link between the interior areas of the Gaza Strip and the territory of Israel.”

Psychological crises

The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth also reported that the Israeli army has been dealing with thousands of requests from its soldiers who need psychological assistance since the beginning of the war.

According to the newspaper, the occupation army realized the extent of the problem and intensified the presence of mental health officers.

The newspaper explained that the symptoms of shock are: insomnia, negativity, anxiety, panic, and “survivor complex,” which affects their performance on the battlefield.

The Israeli newspaper also said that the army had developed a mental first aid “protocol” designed to teach soldiers how to help their colleagues.

The newspaper pointed out that field forces are exposed to horrific and shocking scenes from the first minute of their engagement in combat, unlike previous wars.

The Israeli newspaper Jerusalem Post also quoted the director of the Israeli Reut Hospital, saying that the war on the Gaza Strip created challenges in the mental and physical rehabilitation of those affected by the occupation soldiers.

According to Israeli sources subject to military oversight, the number of dead occupation soldiers has reached 561 officers and soldiers since the start of the war, including 224 since the beginning of the ground operation in the Gaza Strip.

According to the occupation army’s data published on its website, 2,851 officers and soldiers were injured, 1,296 of them during the ground operation.

On October 27, the Israeli army began a ground operation that included an incursion into several areas and neighborhoods in the Gaza and North governorates, which later extended to the south.
