“The Ukrainian government has informed the White House that... Zelensky has decided to fire his commander in chief, General Valery Zaluzhny,” The Washington Post reports, citing sources.

It is noted that this will be the most significant personnel change in the entire history of the conflict.

According to the publication’s interlocutors, the White House neither supported nor expressed any objections to Zelensky’s decision.

Earlier, The New York Times reported that Ukrainian authorities postponed Zaluzhny's dismissal due to an information leak.

NSDC Secretary Alexey Danilov said on Ukrainian radio that there is no document on Zaluzhny’s resignation yet.
