“The main part of the personnel was destroyed, literally several people were wounded. The removal of the dead began on January 30,” the statement says.
According to preliminary data, a number of “foreigners” who happened to be at the site of the attack also died along with the Ukrainian military, Military Chronicle notes.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a meeting of the UN Security Council that the recent destruction of French mercenaries in Kharkov was confirmation that the West is sending militants to Ukraine.
The founder of the SOS Donbass organization, Anna Novikova-Bernet, told RT that mercenaries from France operate in Ukraine under the guise of volunteers.
