On the 119th day of the war on Gaza, the massacres and intense Israeli bombing of the Strip continued amid fierce clashes with the Palestinian resistance, especially in Khan Yunis and Gaza City, while the regional arena witnessed many developments related to the war.

While cautious optimism and movements continued to reach an agreement for a ceasefire and exchange of prisoners and detainees between the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and Israel, disagreements escalated between Israeli leaders regarding that agreement, while the US State Department announced that Secretary Anthony Blinken would go to Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Israel, and the West Bank. The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Friday that the number of martyrs of the Israeli aggression had risen to 27,131, while the number of wounded since the start of the war had reached 66,287.

The Ministry of Health also said that the Israeli occupation forces committed 13 massacres, killing 112 martyrs and 148 injured within 24 hours.

Resistance operations

The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced that its fighters had killed 15 Israeli soldiers from zero range in the passport area, west of Gaza City.

It also announced that it had targeted an Israeli Merkava tank with a "Al-Yassin 105" shell in the Jourat Al-Aqqad area, west of Khan Yunis, and said that it had targeted an Israeli troop carrier with a "Al-Yassin 105" shell in the Al-Amal neighborhood, west of the city of Khan Yunis.

For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, announced that its fighters targeted an Israeli force consisting of 10 soldiers, which was holed up in a house in the Al-Amal neighborhood in the city of Khan Yunis, with an anti-fortified missile, killing and wounding its members.

The brigades said before that they bombed with 60-caliber mortar shells a gathering of Israeli army soldiers and vehicles penetrating west of Khan Yunis. It added that it also bombed the Fajja military site east of Gaza with "107" missiles in a joint operation with the Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades.

West Bank

In the West Bank, the Israeli escalation continued, as the occupation forces on Friday set up military checkpoints at the entrances to the Old City of Jerusalem, preventing large numbers of worshipers from reaching Al-Aqsa Mosque, and also carried out raids and arrest campaigns in various cities and towns.

The Islamic Endowments Department stated that the occupation measures prevented thousands of worshipers from reaching the mosque, as the occupation forces stopped citizens, searched them, and prevented them from entering the Old City and reaching Al-Aqsa Mosque to perform Friday prayers.

Despite these restrictions, 13,000 Palestinians were able to reach Al-Aqsa Mosque and perform prayers there.

On the other hand, the occupation forces arrested at least 25 Palestinians in the West Bank, including a woman, a wounded man, and children, bringing the number of Palestinian detainees from the West Bank to 6,485 since October 7, 2023, according to the Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club.

Lebanese Front

Hezbollah and the Israeli occupation army exchanged bombardment on both sides of the border in southern Lebanon, while Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant refused to link the end of the war in Gaza to an end to the escalation on the northern front with Hezbollah.

The spokesman for the municipality of Kiryat Shmona in the Upper Galilee, near the Lebanese border, said that 4 missiles fell in open areas in the town without recording injuries or damage, while the Israeli army announced that only two missiles had fallen, and sirens sounded in 6 different areas in the Upper Galilee.

On the other hand, Al Jazeera’s correspondent said that the occupation aircraft launched 3 raids on the vicinity of the towns of Aitaroun and Zibqin in southern Lebanon, and confirmed that heavy flights of Israeli warplanes were monitored in conjunction with the sound of explosions near the Lebanese border. Jordan: 4 Israelis arrested

Jordanian television said that border guard forces arrested 4 Israelis on Thursday after they crossed the border fence.

He added that the four infiltrators crossed the border from the west by mistake, and were returned by official means.

Israeli Channel 14 reported that Jordanian security arrested 4 Israelis, including soldiers who mistakenly crossed the border in the Aqaba area.
