Song Tao welcomed the exchange delegation. He said that the overall long-term positive trend of the mainland's economy will not change and will provide a broader stage for Taiwanese businessmen and enterprises to take root in the mainland for development. We will continue to help Taiwan compatriots and Taiwanese enterprises integrate into the new development pattern, achieve high-quality development, and help everyone better share the new opportunities of mainland economic and social development. It is hoped that the Electrical and Electronics Industry Association will broadly unite Taiwan's electrical and electronics industry, show greater achievements in strengthening cross-Strait electronic information industry cooperation, enhance cross-Strait industrial chain supply chain integration, and jointly strengthen the Chinese national economy.

Song Tao emphasized that peace rather than war, development rather than recession, exchanges rather than separation, and cooperation rather than confrontation are the mainstream public opinion on the island. No matter how the situation across the Taiwan Strait changes, it cannot change the basic pattern and development direction of cross-Strait relations, nor can it stop the common desire of compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait to get closer and closer together, nor can it stop the historical trend of the reunification of the motherland. Our stance of firmly opposing "Taiwan independence" separatism and interference from external forces will not change. Our determination to firmly promote the peaceful development of cross-Strait relations and the process of reunification of the motherland will not waver. Our sincerity in seeking benefits for Taiwan compatriots will not change, and we will promote cross-Strait exchanges and cooperation. The measures will not stop. Compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait are one family, and family members should help each other; compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait are Chinese and should work together for national reunification and national rejuvenation.

Song Tao said that as long as it is based on the one-China principle, there will be no problem for any political party or group in Taiwan to communicate and negotiate with us.

Li Shiqin said that we support the peaceful and integrated development of cross-Strait relations, and the Taiwanese industry has deep expectations for continued strengthening of cross-Strait industrial cooperation. The mainland has made great achievements in economic and social development, and contains huge opportunities for industrial development. Taiwanese businessmen and enterprises cannot be absent in the process of building a new development pattern and promoting high-quality development on the mainland. They should give full play to their industrial advantages, strengthen the docking of enterprises in key industries on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, and implement more Integrate development results to benefit people's livelihood and well-being on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. The Electrical and Electronics Association will not only continue to promote industrial cooperation, but will also facilitate cross-strait exchanges in various fields in the future and enhance mutual understanding and recognition between young people on both sides of the strait.

The Taiwan Electrical and Electronics Association is one of the most influential industrial and commercial groups in Taiwan. Its member companies cover the fields of computers, communication equipment, semiconductors, etc., and play an important role in the composition of Taiwan's total industrial output value and total export value.
