, following the presidential election of January 14, 2024, the results proclaiming the victory in the first round of the outgoing head of state,
Azali Assoumani
, are contested by the opposition.
After filing an appeal against the provisional results of the Independent National Electoral Commission (Ceni), the opposition also expressed its disagreement following the declarations of the electoral chamber of the Supreme Court.
From now on, the opposition is continuing its actions by starting, from February 2, 2024, a tour on the ground. The objective of this approach is to initiate the mobilization of the population with a view to canceling the contested elections, in the hope of organizing a new vote.

This tour will cover the entire territory. The main objective for Azali Assoumani's five opponents is to show their solidarity and mobilize their supporters.
Mouigni Baraka Saïd Soilihi, candidate in the recent presidential election, declares: “
