The child Hossam’s desire to provide lighting for his brother to see at night prompted him to design this invention (social networking sites)

The suffering of the people of Gaza has worsened with the continuation of the war on the Gaza Strip, which has entered its 118th day. They have been displaced to the south and taken to tents as their shelter, after the Israeli occupation destroyed their homes. They have become deprived of the most basic necessities of life, such as food, water and electricity.

But it is said that greatness is born from the womb of suffering, and hope and creativity are born, and this is what happened with the child Hossam Al-Attar, a displaced person from Gaza, who was nicknamed “the Newton of Gaza”, after he was able, through simple tools, to generate energy from an invention consisting of two fans, to generate electricity for the tent in which he lives. He and his family are currently in Rafah Governorate, south of the Gaza Strip, with the simplest means available.

The child Hossam revealed in a report by Al-Quds Press Agency that the reason that prompted him to design this invention was his desire to provide the necessary lighting so that his brother could see clearly at night.

Social media platform pioneers circulated a video of the child Hossam, in which he appears making an electric generator with simple, primitive tools. X platform activists described the Gazan child as a “genius,” as he was the one who lit up the darkness of the camp with the simplest capabilities.

God willing, there is no power except in God. This child, Hossam Al-Attar, is 9 years old, a genius. He is called Newton of Gaza. He used wind energy to generate electricity for his family’s tent. Gaza, God willing, will not be defeated pic.twitter.com/EKpRaWRw3G

Others said, “A people neither surrender nor die.” Despite everything that the people of Gaza have suffered since the beginning of the war on October 7, they are steadfast in the face of the occupation, which has turned the Gaza Strip into an aftershock.
