“The Union de Uniones protest began at the gates of the Ministry of Agriculture. While some are negotiating internally with Minister Luis Planas on the basis of fictitious representation, others are on the side of the farmers,” the statement said.
Earlier, farmers in Brussels attempted to break into the Euroquarter - the police had to use water cannons and tear gas.
