Many Dutch cities witnessed the organization of protests at various train stations in support of the Palestinian cause, in which they demanded a ceasefire in Gaza, while demonstrations were launched in some American states denouncing the war on Gaza.

Anatolia Agency reported that demonstrators organized protests yesterday, Thursday, at 15 train stations in 14 Dutch cities, led by Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, and Utrecht.

In Amsterdam, a group of demonstrators gathered in front of the central train station, chanting slogans such as, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” and “Gaza does not cry... Palestine will never die.” The demonstrators also denounced the Dutch government’s support for Israel.

Speaking to Anatolia, one of the Dutch demonstrators said that nearly two million people in Gaza are starving, describing this as a “tragic situation.”

He pointed out that Israel is working to control Gaza completely, by killing Gazans with starvation, noting that Israel is using the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) as an excuse to prevent humanitarian aid from the residents of Gaza.

American demonstrations

The American capital, Washington, also witnessed a protest with the participation of a group of Jews to demand an end to the Israeli war on Gaza, which led to the cessation of traffic on major roads linking Washington with the state of Virginia and others close to the Congress building and other government buildings.

The demonstrators gathered in front of the Lincoln Memorial near the State Department headquarters, and others gathered at the central train station and near the Congress building, demanding a ceasefire and an end to the genocide. They also chanted slogans calling on the Biden administration to stop supporting Israel and remove the hands of the United States from it.

Demonstrations also began in Michigan regarding a ceasefire in Gaza, coinciding with President Joe Biden's arrival at an election event there, to denounce his pro-Israel policy.
