Jordan achieved a historic achievement by qualifying for the semi-finals of the Asian Football Cup for the first time after defeating the Tajikistan national team 1-0 in the quarter-finals of the tournament held in Qatar on Friday.

The only goal of the match came in the 66th minute when Abdullah Nassib took advantage of a corner kick to play a header that hit Tajikistan's Wihdat Hanunov into his own net.

In the next round, the Jordanian national team will face the winner of the confrontation between Australia and South Korea, which will be held later today.
