The fatal accident occurred at the end of January. As a result of the accident, five people died, nine more passengers, including two minors, were injured.
According to the investigation, the organizer of the trip did not have a license to carry out this type of activity, as well as the status of a business entity. In addition, the passengers did not have insurance and the procedure for operating the tachograph was violated.
“At the request of the investigator, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for the defendant,” the press service reported.
The accident involving a regular bus in the Pavlovsky district of the Krasnodar Territory became known on January 28. A criminal case was opened into the incident.
