Al Jazeera's correspondent in the northern Gaza Strip reported that the Israeli occupation forces withdrew completely from the western areas of the northern Gaza Strip, while the occupation announced that 5 of its officers and soldiers were injured in Gaza.

The Israeli withdrawal included the evacuation of the areas of Al-Atatra, Al-Saltin, and Al-Tawam, after causing widespread destruction in these areas, according to Al-Jazeera’s correspondent.

The Israeli occupation forces also withdrew from the Al-Maqousi area, northwest of Gaza City, after completely destroying the area.

The occupation forces stormed the Al-Maqousi area at the start of the ground operation in the sector and destroyed civilian buildings, international institutions and hospitals, while the storming process witnessed clashes with the resistance.

Al Jazeera's correspondent said that an Israeli raid targeted the Beit Lahia area in the northern Gaza Strip.

The reporter also reported that Israeli helicopters fired missiles at the southwestern area of ​​Khan Yunis.

Clashes with the occupation forces

The Al-Qassam Brigades, affiliated with the Hamas movement, said that they targeted a group of enemy soldiers inside a house west of Khan Yunis with an anti-fortified shell, leaving them dead and wounded.

In parallel, the Israeli army acknowledged a new toll of its losses in battles with the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip.

The occupation army announced in a statement that 5 officers and soldiers were injured in Gaza during the last 24 hours.

Martyrs and wounded

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that 3 martyrs were killed in an Israeli bombing on the Al-Fokhari and Sheikh Nasser areas in Khan Yunis.

He also pointed out that a woman was killed and several others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted Al-Amal School, which houses displaced people in the Japanese neighborhood, west of Khan Yunis.

He added that 4 martyrs were transferred from the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis, to Abu Youssef Al-Najjar Hospital in the city of Rafah.
