The FSB detained a hacker in Moscow in connection with DDoS attacks on Russian infrastructure.

TASS reports this with reference to law enforcement agencies.

“During the operational-search activities as part of the investigation of a criminal case about DDos attacks on critical information infrastructure facilities in Russia, Artem Leonidovich Khoroshilov was identified and detained,” the agency points out.

It is clarified that Khoroshilov has been charged with committing a crime under Part 4 of Art. 274. 1 of the Criminal Code of Russia (illegal influence on the critical information infrastructure of the Russian Federation).

It is noted that he was also arrested and is currently in custody in the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center.

Earlier, employees of the Russian FSB department for the Kamchatka Territory detained a resident of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on suspicion of preparing a terrorist attack.
