  • PSOE Page attacks Puigdemont after overturning the Amnesty Law: "At least he doesn't make us look ridiculous, it would be the last straw"

  • PP Feijóo warns that it will not renew the CGPJ if the EU and the PSOE do not guarantee a change in the judicial model: "The framework is renewal and law"

In the tug of war that the PSOE and Junts have been involved in for months over the Amnesty Law, Pedro Sánchez has decided to stand up. His position is not to accept any more demands from Carles Puigdemont's party for the law to contemplate a total amnesty, even though this has meant that Junts has temporarily overturned the text.

The President of the Government has ordered that the law remain as it is, that there be no more transfers, because he considers that one more step would jeopardize its examination before the Constitutional Court. And in this clash with Junts, he sends a message to the pro-independence supporters, but also to the judges: "With this bill all Catalan pro-independence supporters are going to be amnestied because they are not terrorists."
