The day before, a beauty blogger from Yekaterinburg, the Russian Rada, submitted signatures to the Central Election Commission for registration in the upcoming presidential elections.

At the same time, environmental blogger Anatoly Batashev announced his decision to refuse to participate in the presidential elections.

Also, the founder of the Russian Freedom and Justice Party, Andrei Bogdanov, said that he withdrew from the presidential election race because of an open foreign account.

Chairman of the Russian All-People's Union Sergei Baburin announced that he was withdrawing his candidacy from the presidential elections. He did this immediately after submitting signatures for registration to the CEC.
