The town of Hizma, northeast of Jerusalem, witnessed confrontations between the Israeli occupation army and Palestinian youths, in light of continuous incursions into West Bank cities and towns, at a time when Washington called on Tel Aviv to avoid destabilizing what it described as stability.

The Palestinian Red Crescent announced that two Palestinians were injured by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets in the city of Tubas, in the northern occupied West Bank.

Large forces, supported by about 40 military vehicles, stormed the city's southern axis for hours and launched a campaign of raids on several homes amid violent clashes with resistance fighters.

The occupation forces also stormed Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, and fired live bullets and tear gas bombs at Palestinians. They also raided homes and conducted patrols in the town amid confrontations with resistance fighters.

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Husan, west of the city of Bethlehem, in the southern West Bank, and launched an arrest campaign.

The official Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) said that, on Thursday, the Israeli army carried out incursions into towns and camps in the West Bank, most notably the Dheisheh and Aida camps near Bethlehem (south).

It reported that 28 Palestinians were arrested from the Bethlehem Governorate, 4 from the town of Arraba, south of Jenin, and 3 from the Nablus Governorate.

Since the start of its devastating war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the Israeli army has intensified its operations in the West Bank, killing as of Tuesday 381 Palestinians, wounding about 4,340, and arresting 6,420, according to official Palestinian sources.

On the other hand, the US State Department said that Israel has the right to combat what it called “terrorism” in Gaza and the West Bank, but Washington wants this to be done in accordance with international law and without Israeli operations in the West Bank destabilizing what it described as stability.
