According to a CSA survey for Europe 1, CNews and "Le Journal du Dimanche", a majority of French people think that the best French education is provided in private establishments. An opinion that is shared regardless of age groups, social category, gender or even region.

Since the appointment of Amélie Oudéa-Castera to the Ministry of National Education (in addition to that of Sports and the Olympic Games) last January and her controversial outing on the education of her children, we are once again witnessing the debate between private school and public school. And while the main teaching unions are calling for a strike this Thursday, February 1, 63% of French people think that we follow the best French education in private establishments, according to a CSA survey for Europe 1, CNews and

A majority opinion, regardless of age, gender, or region

An opinion that is shared by a majority of French people, regardless of gender, age, profession or even region. Thus, 65% of men lean in favor of the private sector, and 62% of women. Those under 35 are the most lenient with the public, since 43% think that this is where the best education is found. And the findings drawn up by those surveyed do not improve if we look at the geographical distribution. In Île-de-France, 72% of Ile-de-France residents say that the private sector is superior to the public, while 61% think the same in the regions.

Ranked in the center by the survey, the Macronists also lean towards the private sector (68% against 32%).

On the right, 76% of respondents think that the private sector offers better education. The voters of the National Rally are the most divided with 71% of favorable opinions for private establishments, while the voters of Eric Zemmour are the most categorical: 96% of them affirm the superiority of the private sector.
