Some 47% of middle and high school teachers are on strike Thursday, according to the Snes-FSU, the leading secondary education union, on the occasion of a day of mobilization on working conditions, salaries and public schools, an “anger” fueled by the declarations of their new minister Amélie Oudéa-Castéra.
In primary education (nursery and elementary), 40% of teachers are on strike, according to an estimate established Tuesday by the sector's leading union, FSU-Snuipp.
