The occupation authorities said that a Palestinian tried to run over an Israeli soldier near the city of Hebron. In this context, the occupation forces stormed a number of Palestinian cities and villages and arrested dozens of Palestinians. This coincided with settlers carrying out attacks on Palestinian property in the occupied West Bank.

The Israeli occupation army spokesman announced that a Palestinian attempted to carry out a run-over attack near Hebron, and the occupation forces opened fire on him, wounded him, arrested him, and referred him for investigation.

Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that the attack targeted an occupation soldier.

In a related context, the Palestinian Red Crescent announced that two Palestinians were injured by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets in Tubas.

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that a young Palestinian man was injured and another was arrested, as a result of the occupation forces shooting at a Palestinian vehicle near the Al-Mahwal area, southeast of Hebron.

The occupation forces prevented the Palestinian ambulance from approaching the injured person and providing him with ambulance and transporting him, which made the injured person’s health condition unclear.

In a related matter, the Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades in Tubas announced that its fighters were able last night “during the storming of the city of Tubas to target enemy vehicles penetrating into the city with appropriate devices and weapons.”

Social media sites broadcast the detonation of an explosive device in a military vehicle and clashes between the resistance and the occupation forces penetrating the city.

Storms and arrests

The reporter reported that the occupation army has continued to storm the town of Husan, west of Bethlehem, since last night. The Israeli forces closed all entrances leading to the town, and declared it a closed military zone.

It launched a massive arrest campaign that affected dozens, including 18 children, according to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, after their homes were raided and searched, leaving great devastation.

In the city of Nablus, the occupation forces stormed the New Nablus area, west of the city, raided a house, conducted a field investigation with its residents, searched the house and tampered with its contents, but no arrests were reported.

The Israeli occupation army arrested the father and brother of a Jerusalemite prisoner who was liberated from the occupation prisons yesterday from the town of Silwan in occupied Jerusalem.

Sources said that after the release of the young man, Abdul Rahman Rukn, yesterday, Wednesday, the occupation forces stormed the family home in “Ras al-Amud” in the town of Silwan, south of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, and arrested his father and younger brother after brutally assaulting them and destroying the house’s furniture.

In a related context, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club stated that the occupation forces have arrested 44 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since yesterday, including children and former prisoners.

The club indicated that the arrests were concentrated in Bethlehem, where at least 30 people were arrested, including 18 children, while the rest of the arrests were distributed in Jericho, Jenin, Nablus, Tubas, and Hebron.

According to the Prisoners' Club, the number of Palestinian detainees in the West Bank since the Battle of Al-Aqsa flood has reached 6,460 detainees, including children and women.

According to official Palestinian sources, the Israeli incursions led to the death of 381 Palestinians and the injury of about 4,340 Palestinians.

Settler attacks

In a related context, settlers established a settlement outpost on the lands of the village of Burqa, near the city of Al-Bireh in the central West Bank.

The outpost is located to the west of the village, and aims to control large areas of land and link them to settlements established several years ago on the site.

It is noteworthy that 15 settlements were established on the lands of Cyrenaica, separating it from the city of Al-Bireh.

The settlers, with the protection of the occupation army, also uprooted about 300 vine trees in the village of Battir, west of Bethlehem.

In Nablus, settlers uprooted 450 olive and almond seedlings on the lands of the village of Deir Sharaf, west of the city.

Settlers also stormed the Arab Al-Malihat community northwest of Jericho and tried to run over a group of sheep near citizens’ homes. Yesterday, they managed to kill a number of livestock there.

Settlers' attacks in all their forms escalated, including the construction of settlement outposts in the occupied West Bank coinciding with the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, as the occupation army provides protection for the settlers during their repeated attacks on the Palestinians.

The Israeli Peace Now movement estimates that more than 700,000 settlers reside in the occupied West Bank settlements, including East Jerusalem.
