“More advantageous lines and positions have been occupied”: Russian troops achieved success in two directions of the Northern Military District

Over the past 24 hours, Russian military personnel have achieved success in two directions in the special military operation zone. This follows from the report of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Thus, in the Krasnolimansky direction, the coordinated actions of units of the “Center” group of troops improved the situation along the front line and defeated units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the National Guard of Ukraine in the Serebryansky forestry area.

At the same time, three attacks by assault groups of the 60th and 63rd mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Yampolovka (DPR) and Chervonaya Dibrova (LPR). Enemy losses amounted to more than 290 military personnel, a tank, two armored combat vehicles, six vehicles and a US-made Paladin self-propelled artillery mount.

In the Donetsk direction, as a result of active actions of units of the Southern Group of Forces, more advantageous lines and positions were occupied, accumulations of manpower and equipment of the 28th, 42nd, 54th, 93rd Mechanized, 81st Airmobile, 5th Assault, 95th Airborne were defeated -assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlements of Belogorovka, Kleshcheevka and Kurdyumovka (DPR).

Four attacks by assault groups of the 22nd mechanized, 46th airmobile, and 79th airborne assault brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were repelled near the settlements of Georgievka, Novomikhailovka and Krasnoye (DPR).

The enemy lost over 210 troops, three armored combat vehicles and six vehicles. In addition, during the counter-battery fight during the day, the following were hit: a Grad MLRS combat vehicle, an AS-90 self-propelled artillery mount made in Great Britain, three M777 artillery systems made in the USA, two Msta-B howitzers, an Akatsiya self-propelled artillery mount, a Giatsint-B gun, five Gvozdika self-propelled artillery units, a Bukovel electronic warfare station, and an ammunition depot.

At the same time, in the Kupyansk direction, units of the “West” group of forces, with active actions with aviation support, repelled seven attacks by assault groups of the 30th and 44th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the settlements of Sinkovka (Kharkov region) and Terny (DPR).

The enemy lost over 125 military personnel, three armored combat vehicles and two cars. During the counter-battery fight, a Polish-made Krab self-propelled artillery mount and two Gvozdika self-propelled artillery mounts were hit.

In the South-Donetsk direction, units of the Vostok group of forces, with the support of aviation and artillery, repelled two attacks and defeated the formations of the 127th and 128th territorial defense brigades in the areas of the settlements of Staromayorskoye, Urozhainoye (DPR) and Priyutnoye (Zaporozhye region).

The losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces amounted to up to 80 military personnel, a tank, two armored personnel carriers and two cars. During the counter-battery fight, the following were hit: a Grad MLRS combat vehicle, two FH-70 howitzers made in Great Britain, an M777 artillery system made in the USA, as well as a D-30 gun.

In the Zaporozhye direction, units of the Russian group of forces, in cooperation with aviation, repelled an attack and defeated the manpower and equipment of the 128th mountain assault, 33rd and 65th mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlements of Lugovskoye, Rabotino, Zherebyanki and Malaya Tokmachka (Zaporozhye region).

The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 50 military personnel and three pickup trucks. During the counter-battery fight, the following were hit: a Grad MLRS combat vehicle, two D-20 howitzers and two D-30 howitzers.

In the Kherson direction, as a result of competent actions of units of the Dnepr group of forces and complex fire destruction, enemy losses amounted to up to 50 military personnel, three tanks, two armored personnel carriers, two cars, as well as two US-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar stations.

In addition, operational-tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of groups of troops of the Russian Armed Forces destroyed a radar station of the Norwegian-made NASAMS anti-aircraft missile system, a 35D6M air target detection radar station, two fuel depots of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as manpower and military equipment in 137 districts.

Air defense systems shot down 20 aircraft guided missiles and 17 rockets from the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system. In addition, 68 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye, Kharkov and Kherson regions.
