The writer’s confession came during a telephone prank organized by pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov, better known as Vovan and Lexus. They called Ulitskaya on behalf of the head of the office, Vladimir Zelensky.

“My fees go to Ukraine,” the writer said during the conversation.

Ulitskaya added that she liked Zelensky.

She also answered the question whether she was embarrassed by the terrorist attacks against Russian journalists, including Daria Dugina, organized by the Ukrainian special services.

“I can’t say that I really like this position, but you have the right to it,” the writer said.

Earlier it became known about a resident of the Khabarovsk Territory who was sentenced to eight years in prison for financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
