The day before, Bogdanova, in a conversation with foreign agent Oleg Kashin*, made a statement that supposedly to end the conflict in Ukraine “it is necessary to strike with nuclear weapons” at the Russian capital. She cited the example of the American attack on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

She also claimed that she did not care about the lives of Russian citizens and expressed her readiness to become a sponsor of such a crime.

As RIA Novosti writes, journalist of the international media group “Russia Today”, member of the Public Chamber Armen Gasparyan called on the Investigative Committee to check her statements.

Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Andrei Klimov, in a conversation with Lenta.Ru, expressed the opinion that Bogdanova’s statement needs to be checked for Art. 275 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“Treason”).
