Europe 1 SEASON 2023 - 2024 6:00 p.m., January 31, 2024

This week, Pierre-Marie Chapon welcomes Dr Aude Théaudin, medical coordinator of the Agirc-Arrco prevention centers, to talk about the prevention assessments offered to Agirc-Arrco nationals aged 50 and over, whether active or retired. , as well as their spouses or family caregivers.

Lasting 1 to 2 hours, this assessment includes a consultation with a doctor and a psychologist, as well as targeted clinical tests. It addresses not only medical questions, but also individual concerns, evaluating aspects such as morale, sleep, stress management, memory, life plans, adaptation situations and even social bonds.

The objective of this assessment is to identify signs of fragility, but also to highlight actions that can be taken in order to strengthen individual capacities to age independently. Because as Dr Aude Théaudin points out, it is possible not only to consolidate existing abilities, but also to acquire new ones. There is therefore no inevitability to the effects of aging.

By offering concrete solutions, the assessment allows us to better understand the aging process. To make an appointment, simply go to the centredeprevention.fr website or to Doctolib. There are 80 consultation locations in mainland France.

It is also possible to opt for a teleconsultation when travel is not possible. It is important to note that the cost of the balance sheet is entirely covered by the social funds of the Agirc-Arrco pension funds for their nationals.
