Anatoly told RT that words of support from a complete stranger gave him strength and gave him a second wind.

“Until the end of my entire business trip and contract, I prayed. It seems to me that it’s realistic that, perhaps, thanks to this letter, I returned back safe and sound,” the military man said.

He added that the letter he received brought him to tears.

Anatoly left the letter to other fighters with the hope that it would be passed from hand to hand. He added that he thanked the author for his support.

Earlier, RT military correspondent Sami Abu Deyab spoke about the work of the volunteer cooks of the “Kitchen Z” project, who work on the front lines to ensure that fighters always have hot food.
