“At about 17:00 Moscow time, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack using 20 aircraft guided missiles against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation was stopped,” the department said in a statement.
It is clarified that duty air defense systems destroyed 17 Ukrainian missiles over the Black Sea and three more over the Crimean Peninsula.
The debris fell on the territory of a military unit in the Lyubimovka region in Crimea; there was no damage to aircraft.
Earlier, the governor reported that an air raid alert had been declared in Sevastopol.
Later it became known that an air target had been shot down in the sky over Sevastopol.
