“Six of our Lipetsk fighters have returned from Ukrainian captivity,” the message says.

Artamonov said that everything was fine with the fighters. He added that the military will undergo a medical examination in Moscow and treatment at medical institutions of the Ministry of Defense, if necessary. 

Earlier, the ministry announced that on January 31, 195 Russian army servicemen who were in mortal danger were returned from Ukrainian captivity.

It is noted that in return, 195 prisoners of war of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were also transferred.

It was also reported that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) provided mediation in the return of Russian military personnel from Ukrainian captivity.
