As he noted at a meeting of the Council for the Development of the Digital Economy under the Federation Council, up to 92% of settlements in new regions are covered by cellular communications by the end of 2023.
“I will separately present the results of the implementation of the program for the socio-economic development of the reunified territories for 2023. We constantly monitor this at the government coordination center... Up to 92% of the territories of populated areas are covered by cellular communications, about 1.8 thousand new base stations have been put into operation,” RIA Novosti quotes him.
He added that 2,038 social facilities were connected to the Internet, and a fleet of computer equipment was provided in the amount of more than 35 thousand automated workstations with domestic software.
