The governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, stated this in an interview with RIA Novosti.
According to him, attempts to land troops on the left bank are carried out only for a picture and a report to the West.
At the same time, Saldo emphasized that Ukrainian soldiers do not even have the opportunity to retreat or refuse to carry out the “criminal orders” of the command.
Earlier, grenade launchers from the West group of forces disrupted a rotation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Kupyansk.
Also, the governor of the Zaporozhye region, Yevgeny Balitsky, said that Russian troops, saving personnel, are gradually advancing in the region.
